Term starts: Thursday 8 January

THURSDAY 10.00 – 11.00 EXPERIENCED

Suitable for those who already have significant formal ballet training. The level is equivalent to roughly upper grades/Inter Foundation – although knowledge is more important than level of practise! This class is professional in style but non pressurised (good for returners).

THURSDAY 11.00 – 12.00 SWANS 1

This class is for you if you are completely new to ballet or would like to start again! Come and learn the ballet basics but also start to experience some adapted repertoire (see below) – all to beautiful music!

THURSDAY 12.00 – 1.00 SWANS 2

Come and join our existing Swans who have been dancing for several years. You will experience a ballet class with some technique, adapted repertoire & a lot of fun!

Adaptations in both classes so far have included: Swan Lake (pas de trios), Sleeping Beauty (Lilac Fairy), Les Sylphides, La Bayadere (shades) and Jewels (Emerald solo), Dances at a Gathering, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker (Sugar Plum Fairy)

COST

Whole Term – Spring 2026 £104.00 (13 weeks @ £8.00 per class)

WHAT TO WEAR

If you are new to ballet and are unsure what to wear for class, anything comfortable and that you can move in is fine! Leggings and a t shirt is good but feel free to wear whatever you like!

Ballet shoes are best but not absolutely essential – especially if it’s your first time! Most Swans get them eventually but anything that is light and fairly flexible will do.
